Medical Educational Information
Tailored To Your Patients’ Needs

In this time of shortened clinical visits and escalating health care costs, it can be difficult to adequately inform and educate patients regarding their medical condition in the time allotted for their doctor’s visit. Physicians in private practice seldom have the time, variety of resources or nursing support to adequately teach patients about their or their child’s medical condition. Yet, studies show that educating patients empowers them to actively participate in their care and course of treatment, promoting successful outcomes and better health. Studies also show that empowering patients to discuss and understand their medical or lifestyle issues with a healthcare professional leads to higher satisfaction, better clinical outcomes and is cost effective.

C.M. RENELLA & ASSOCIATES, LLC can help you educate your patients regarding their or their child’s diagnosis in order to facilitate communication and assure their participation in a mutually agreed upon, holistic medical plan of care.

Our firm’s unique, multidisciplinary team of experienced clinical experts, health researchers and RNs has advanced certification and clinical expertise in a wide variety of practice areas. We focus our search on non-biased, credible information as we thoroughly investigate your patient’s medical condition or that of their child’s and quickly provide them with a personally customized, bound report containing useful, comprehensible information about their diagnosis, beyond the education they receive at their doctor’s visit. Most importantly, we instruct your patients to use the information we provide to take an active role in making informed health care decisions in partnership with you and their health care team. Pricing is reasonable and individual. Each patient purchases his or her own personal bound report copy. OR, for a fraction of the price you would pay to hire an office staff RN/patient educator, you can keep us on retainer and we will provide this service to all your referred patients.

Our services encompass all areas of Adult and Pediatric medicine, surgery, acute care, home care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and disabilities.

For example, you may want us to supply a specific article(s), a customized list of questions you want your patient(s)prepared to answer at their next doctor’s visit, a list of your preferred web sites, etc. We will even provide a list of medical definitions so your patient(s) will understand any technical language they may encounter in the learning process.

We are diligent in our efforts to enhance communication between you and your patients ; improve patient understanding of diagnostic and/or treatment options, benefits and risks; improve patient preparedness and compliance with a chosen treatment plan; reduce patient fears and anxieties ; and promote meaningful discussion between patients and their physicians during the limited time of their routine doctor’s appointment visits. Your patient’s personal report is the tool designed to help achieve this goal.
